Wake up to the matters already moving
One chief of staff reads your whole caseload. Nine specialist desks do the deep work overnight: the opening pack built, the progression chase drafted, the attendance notes written, the bill narratives ready. It never advises a client and never quotes an unverified authority. You approve, and you stay the solicitor.
The morning that runs itself
By the time you sit down with a coffee, the sorting, drafting and chasing are already done. Here is how it looks.
The work gets done while you sleep
- Everything inbound sorted; anything needing a solicitor’s judgement pulled straight to a named fee earner
- Every matter checked against its own timetable, the slipping ones flagged
- Client updates and chases drafted for every matter past its milestone
- One clean brief assembled: progression, lock-up, what wants your tap
All of it done before your first client call.
One brief. A few taps. Done.
- A new instruction’s opening pack finished: conflict search run, risk assessment drafted for sign-off
- Yesterday’s calls turned into attendance notes, time entries proposed against the right matters
- Two bills ready: narratives drafted from the file, chasers queued behind them
- Every client letter reads like your firm wrote it, because your team learned your voice
Coffee still hot. The caseload already moving.
Six things you get back
Outcomes the firm feels in the first week.
Your evenings, back
The attendance notes at nine at night stop. Yesterday’s calls come back written up with time entries proposed, ready for your read-through.
It sounds like your firm
Client letters in your house style, chases with your manners. You approve every one before it goes anywhere.
Delay stops silently killing files
Every matter watched against its own timetable, the client update drafted the moment one slips. Delay is what clients complain about; this is the desk that ends it.
The COLP file writes itself
Risk assessment, complaints register, training log and AI use policy kept current as you go. Your firm draws the conclusions; nothing is ever backfilled.
Time stops leaking
Every call, meeting and thread leaves an attendance note and a proposed time entry against the right matter and code. Recorded, not reconstructed.
One brief, not forty tabs
Everything that matters lands in one scannable brief before your first client call. Read it in two minutes with the first coffee.
One chief of staff. Nine desks for the firm.
Your chief of staff holds the whole caseload and hands deep work to the desk that owns it. Everything is drafted for a named fee earner’s sign-off: it never advises a client, never files or serves, never touches the client account. You supervise; it does the legwork.
Your chief of staff
Reads all your context: your matters, your clients, your deadlines, your voice. Triages everything inbound, pulls anything needing a solicitor’s judgement straight to a fee earner, and puts one clean brief in front of you.
Matter opening & conflict search
Every new instruction reaches the fee earner as a finished opening pack, the conflict search run across current and former clients, hits surfaced for a named person to sign off.
AML risk & source of funds
Client and matter risk assessments and source-of-funds narratives written up and evidenced before work starts, not reconstructed the week of the audit.
Matter progression & client updates
Anything past its own timetable arrives with the client update drafted and a chaser ready for whoever is holding it up. Files stop going quiet.
Attendance notes & time recording
Every call, meeting and thread leaves an attendance note and a proposed time entry against the right matter and code. The file stays complete.
Lock-up, bills & credit control
Aged WIP and unpaid bills ranked weekly, the bill narrative and the next chaser drafted. It prepares; it never posts to a ledger.
COLP governance pack
Firm-wide risk assessment, complaints register, training log and AI use policy kept current and reportable. Your firm draws the conclusions, always.
Client care & first-tier complaints
Grumbles logged and acknowledged inside your own procedure, the first-tier response drafted for a person to send. Caught here, they never go further.
Costs information & retainer updates
Clear costs information drafted at engagement, and an update drafted every time the estimate moves. Fee surprises stop being a complaint.
Supervision gate & verification log
Nothing leaves without a named fee earner’s sign-off on the record, and no draft quotes an authority your firm has not verified. The gate that makes the rest safe.
And the rest of life, quietly handled
Your own tax, the family diary, travel and research switch on at the build session if you want them. Same rules, never the headline.
08:00. The caseload worked, nothing sent.
While you slept, your team built the opening pack, wrote the attendance notes and drafted every chase. The brief shows exactly what happened and what wants your tap, before your first client call.
- Prepared overnight. Drafting, noting and chasing happen while you're asleep, not at nine at night.
- Approve, don't administrate. Each item is a decision, not a job. Most mornings it's four taps with the first coffee.
- Nothing moves without you. Sending, filing, serving and anything with money always waits for a named person’s explicit yes, and advice never comes from a machine at all.
Live by day three
No software to learn, no dashboard to babysit. Your team works alongside your practice management system; it prepares and drafts, and every judgement call stays with a named fee earner.
We learn your firm
A short interview covers your practice areas, your precedents, your people and how you write to clients. Your desks read all of it before they touch a single message, so they never ask what they should already know.
Your desks go to work
From day one: opening packs, progression chases, attendance notes, the bill narratives, the registers. Each desk takes the deep work in its lane while your chief of staff holds the thread.
You approve with a tap
Nothing is sent, filed or paid without a named person, and no judgement call is ever made by a machine. You approve the good drafts, correct the odd miss, and your team learns from every correction.
What founding firms will say here
These three are examples to show the layout. They are replaced by our founding firms’ own words, published with their say-so, as each one lands.
The attendance notes at nine at night were the tax on running my own firm. Now yesterday’s calls come back written up with the time entries proposed, and the update to the client who’d gone quiet is already drafted. Nothing has ever left this firm without a named person approving it first.
I expected a gimmick. What I got was the COLP file current without a backfilling weekend, and lock-up on one page every Monday with the chasers already drafted. The bit I didn't believe until I saw it: nothing goes anywhere until I say yes.
First day with it, we built the whole team before the coffee went cold. It flagged a matter that had sat quiet for three weeks and drafted the client update in my voice, word for word sendable. That one email probably saved a complaint.
One price. Whole team.

Asked before you asked
Is my data private?
Yes. Your firm’s context lives in your own private workspace and is never used to train anything or shared with anyone. Access is scoped to the narrowest permission that works: read and draft, never send or delete. Client confidentiality and privilege stay exactly where they are: with your firm.
Does it sound like our firm?
The voice profile is built from your own client letters and emails: how you open, how you sign off, how you speak to a client versus the other side. Every correction sharpens it, and because a named person approves each draft before it goes out, nothing ever leaves in a voice that isn't your firm's.
What if it gets something wrong?
It drafts, a named person approves. Nothing is sent, filed or paid without that tap, so a wrong draft costs one shake of the head, not a client. Two hard guards on top: no draft ever quotes an authority your firm has not verified, and the registers are belt and braces, never your only record of a court or limitation date. Your diary systems stay wherever they are today.
Do we have to change our software?
No. Your team works with the inbox and calendar you already use, alongside your practice management system, at read and draft level only. It prepares packs and registers; your fee earners make the calls. The brief arrives on your phone, and you approve with the first coffee.
Is this legal advice, or a solicitor?
No, and it is built so it never becomes either. It never advises a client, never conducts a reserved legal activity, never signs, files or serves: it prepares, drafts and organises, and every judgement call goes to a named fee earner. Your firm stays the lawyer; it runs the engine room.
Can it spend money or agree to anything for me?
Never. The client account is hard-barred: it never touches client money, not to read and not to write. Office-side it prepares bills and chases; it never posts to a ledger and never moves a penny. The yes is always a named person’s.
What exactly does £3,999 buy?
Stage 1: the full build. The interview, your chief of staff, all nine desks, your voice profile, the Monday lock-up page and thirty days of tuning. The build is a one-off price; the ongoing support plan is optional and monthly, only if you want the rule-tracking.
